We Are Here to Assist You!
-
The Collections area of the Bursar’s Office assists students who have left the University of Connecticut and still have outstanding charges on their accounts. We are here to assist you with ways to handle inquiries regarding past due tuition balances.
If you leave the University of Connecticut and have unpaid charges on your account, your account is moved into collection status, at which time a financial hold will be placed on your account. Any requests for transcripts, readmission, and credit clearances will be denied until the delinquency has been resolved.
Ways to have the hold removed:
-
-
Call collections to make payment arrangements. Although we do not permit installment payment plans there are a number of ways to pay your account. Please click here to see our many payment options.
- If you had financial aid that was not posted to your account, please contact the Financial Aid office.
- If you were expecting tuition assistance from a department, please contact that department for assistance.
- If you believe you were charged for classes you did not take, please contact the appropriate Dean’s Office regarding your registration.
Staff members are available to assist and answer inquiries by phone at (860) 486-4830, by email at collections@uconn.edu, or in person. Students who currently have an account that is in the Collection's Office are encouraged to contact our office immediately.
