Description of Fees:

(*) – Mandatory fees for Storrs students.

(¹) – This is a one-time deposit, charged when the student first attends UCONN. It will be refunded when the student leaves the University and will only be used if there is any outstanding balance on the account when the student leaves or graduates.

(²) – This is an optional fee which may be waived in your Student Administration account once your fee bill is available.

(³) – The room charge is based on a standard double which is what most incoming students receive.

(⁴) – The meal plan is based on the highest meal plan available, the Ultimate meal plan ($5,776/year). The others are the Value meal plan and Custom meal plan.

Please also note: All full-time students are required to be covered by health insurance.  Students are therefore automatically billed for the University’s health insurance plan every Fall. If the student is already covered, they can waive the health insurance fee in their Student Administration account.  For specific information regarding the University health insurance plan, please visit www.shs.uconn.edu.
