Failure to Pay on Time, Graduates

Hold Policy
Students with outstanding balances on their fee bills will have a “Bursar hold” placed on their accounts. This hold prevents students from accessing services such as class registration, moving into residence halls, recreation services, library services, parking services, transcripts and other important services.

Graduate Students are billed by e-mail notification only. Failing to receive an e-mail bill notification does not absolve the student of the responsibility of payment by the due date. Students have 24/7 access to view any term fee bill through accessing their student account.

Late Payment Fee
A late payment fee of $6 per day is payable by all graduate students whose tuition and fees are not paid in full on by the tenth business day of the semester for a period not to exceed an additional ten business days. Checks returned by the bank for any reason will be removed from the account and late fees will apply.

Returned Check Policy
There is a $25 charge for any check which is returned by the bank for any reason.

A returned check may result in disruption of student services.
