Spring 2022 reminders

Fee bill deadline

Fee bills are due Saturday, 1/8 for undergraduate students.

For graduate students, fee bills are due Friday, 1/14.

Charges that are posted after this deadline will be due ten (10) days after the charge is posted. The University Fall 2021 payment plan is currently available.

The Storrs campus is processing check payments on a limited basis. We cannot guarantee timely processing of check payments sent to our office via mail. We highly recommend paying your fee bill by using one of the online payment options described on our website.

Financing Options for Educational Expenses

Students who may need additional options to pay their fee bill can find information on UConn’s Financial Aid website https://financialaid.uconn.edu/financing-options/ which includes, information on scholarship opportunities, the Federal Direct Plus Loan, UConn’s Suggested Lender List for Alternative/Private Loans, and the UConn Payment Plan.

Holds and Late fees

After Saturday, 1/8, any account with a past due balance is subject to Bursar holds and/or late fees for undergraduate students. For graduate students, Bursar holds and/or late fees are subject to be added after Friday, 1/14. Bursar holds will prevent students from swapping classes, access to the rec center, transcript requests, and other University services.

Title IV Waiver

If you would like federal student aid funds to pay current academic year non-allowable charges (such as Husky One card charges, or health charges) you must complete this waiver. Please note, even with this waiver, federal student aid funds cannot apply to late fees or bounced payment fees. For more information regarding the Title IV waiver please visit the Office of the Bursar website.

Direct Deposit

Refunds are processed daily via direct deposit. Paper refund checks are generated only on Wednesdays and are mailed to the student’s address on file. Students may not pick up their checks in person.
