Tax Considerations for Departments

The Tax & Compliance Office is responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws across all aspects of University operations.

Departments are required consult with Tax & Compliance before submitting an invoice if they are unsure whether or not sales tax is required for their service or product(s).  The Tax & Compliance webpage CT State Taxes has more information regarding this.
